The Highlands at

Lake Wilderness

 Welcome!

The Highlands at Lake Wilderness is a neighborhood of 172 single family homes located in the city of Maple Valley on Highway 169. Lake Wilderness lies below some of our homes but there are paths/trails connecting to the Cedar River trail. Hearty physical conditioners bike, run, walk or jog, but some just use the trail to stroll up to Four Corner for either some hardware from Johnson’s Hardware, pizza from Mod Pizza or a Dairy Queen ice cream cone.

Over the lake at the Fourth of July we get our own private showing of some of the best fire works show you’ve ever seen. During the summer you can hear music from the lake almost every other week. We get to hear blues, country, jazz, hip-hop and Rock and Roll. Maple Valley days offers a kind of festival with rides for the kids and vendor and craft booths for adults to browse. If you’re looking for convenience, we are just 24 minutes to the closest Boeing plant, 30 minutes to South Center, 40 minutes to see either the Sea Hawks, Mariners or Sounders. Let’s face it The Highlands of Lake Wilderness is a pretty special place to hang your hat.
